My own personal experience...I needed breaks on my 2008 Ford Focus and explained to Rick that I was pressed for time (like everyone else in LA). Rick could see my frustration and took compassion. Rick grabbed his best guy Chris and jumped right on it. I went with my gut when I chose this shop, it paid off. Now in most cases another mechanics would have fixed it and charged more money.... But Ricks did not go take that approach...which brings me back to the beginning of my comment...Honesty, quality, commitment and reassurance, 5 Star Service at a very fair price.

I got tired of dealing with shady mechanics and finally made to Rick's. What a relief! Finally a great and honest mechanic who doesn't give you the run-around! I had my timing belt and water pump on my Sequoia replaced for a reasonable price! You can also check the status of your vehicle on their website. I would definitely come back here again and get all cars service here!

Elite '2020 Elite '2020 1 check-in Just had an intake service and brake flush done on Fri. Not only did I get a 15% discount from an email promotion that Rick sent to me, but I also got shuttle service back home and he even picked me up once my car was ready. That made things easier, as I wasn't in the mood to walk a mile and a half each way, when I was overcoming a cold. I look forward to getting more services done by Rick's shop as the time comes. I happened to stop by, on my way to a most distant mechanic. I asked how much to replace my stolen catalytic converter. Rick, the owner, called around a few places, while I waited for a few minutes. Got a quote and the work was completed in just under 2 hours. The price was decent for the work, and Rick was very friendly. Kinda reminds me of my uncle, hehe, although we are prob the same age. I called Rick, because my car was making noises and seemed to lack power recently. Rick had me come in right away, and dropped me off at home a mile away. It was nice to have a ride back home, so I didn't have to walk. He completed a brake flush and intake service. I feel more confident about my car, now that the service has been done. I will always bring my car to Rick's Auto Repair. I heard about this place through a friend, and it lived past the hype. I was stunned about how reasonable in price he was, as well as honest. My car got done pretty quickly too. Because of this, my old dishonest and over-priced mechanic who is less than a mile from me will no longer be a recipient of my business thanks to Rick. I had a wonderful experience at "Rick's Automotive" They gave me the best possible service that you could receive in the south bay. There was even a time where they provided me with a car to Drive around because of how long my car was takeing to be completed.
