I would recommend Rick's automotive in a heart best! When I took my car in I explained I just need to fix whatever was needed to pass a smog as it just failed! I also explained how I was unemployed so money is tight! Rick provided excellent service by telling me what the problem was to get it to pass the smog! In addition to other things as he reminded me no pressure and to fix one thing at a time. This place is extremely honest, fast service and provide excellent customer service. Rick new how stressed I was about the smog, going to school and trying to find a job he took it upon himself to send an employee to go get my car smog after the work was completed. So when he called to tell me my car was ready and he also informed me the car passed the smog check! To me that was so awesome customer service! I would refer people here and will bring my car back for all services! They rock

I thought my van was in a dying stage when I brought it in Art;s Auto Service for the first time. My coworker recommended me to this auto shop because of his recent experience. I thought it was a transmission problem, but when Rick loioked at it he said, it needed only to be tuned up and after he was done with the work, I drove the car and it was working smoothly. The reason why I am writing this is for people to know that Art;s Auto Service is the kind of autoshop that you would not regret going to if you have car problems. They are honest, know what they are doing and most importantly, they are not going to rip you off, I would recommend this auto service to anybody and I would return again and again....

This is an honest mechanics shop with fair prices. Rick and all guys are personable. I have taken multiple cars to this shop for everything from simple oil changes and shocks to internal engine work. I am very satisfied with all that they have done. I sent a few work colleagues to Rick's too. They were also happy with the service they received. Five Stars! I have a Mercedes Slk and I have been tired of paying Mercedes prices. I found Ricks Automotive,who works on Mercedes for reasonable prices. I got a water pump, belts changed, pipes changed ect after a decade of wear and tear of my vehicle with a 2 year warranty. He's a nice guy and my car is on its way to feeling brand new again because of him. I recommend him if you are close to Hawthorne, Lawndale area.
