I have a 2003 Honda CRV EX Stick shift, and when I was leaving work from Santa Monica, I heard this grouling noise, on my way home I heard it again in front of Ricks Automotive, when I came out of my car I was greeted by the Owner Rick, and we test drove my car and apperantly, my Clutch went out, he did not want me to drive my car anymore and was gracious enough to give me his loaner as I told hiim that I live in Lawndale but work in Santa Monica, he gave me an estimate of the cost. While my car was in the shop, he sent me e-mails of what my clutch looked like and a very detailed spec on what they would have to do, In my years with my Honda 2003 CRV-EX, this was the first time I was shown and told on what actually is to be done with the car as well as how long it would take, he also made suggestions, on what my car would need, I was very pleased on Rick's evaluation with my car and time took for him to finish the work, was acctually faster then his estimated time. I would most definately recommend you to go to this shop, with the assurance that the work will get done and not be charged an arm and a leg for it. Thanks Rick for all your help with my car.

This is a family owned business which was passed on to Rick by his father. I have brought in my 97 BMW for an oil leak. Rick gave me an estimate but I felt it was a bit high so I took the car for couple more estimates. I drove back to Rick ASAP as he was 2 to 3 times cheaper then the others. Not only the price but everybody is nice and Rick will work with you and help you as much as he can. 10 out of 10

I am very surprided that after the simple repairs the car ran so well. The ticking which was a big problem with an expensive search and repair bill, which I decided not to do because the repair was more than the car was worth, went away. Why? It must be Ricks automotive repair magic.

I knew something was wrong with my car.... I just didn't know what it was... it didn't sound right, it didn't respond right... So glad I took my friend's advice and went to Rick's ! He was so understanding...all costs explained up front... After about 10 minutes checking my car, he knew what was wrong.... showed me, on my car, what was going on...fixed it and I was back on the road again... Peace of mind is a wonderful thing...
